Smarty CRM Organizer for Android is a simple CRM tool that’s all about being more organized with your contacts. Contact management is an important part of any business but something that can quickly get out of hand without the right CRM tool. Whether you are a CEO, a sales manager or a salesperson, keeping track of your contacts and clients is incredibly important to increase sales and maintain good customer relations.
Smarty CRM Organizer is an Android contact management system which is a stripped-back alternative to cloud-based CRM heavyweights like Salesforce, Infusionsoft, and Insightly. It’s a straightforward but intuitive tool for small businesses designed to help improve your contact management.
Smarty CRM allows you to effectively build-up and manage a database, set reminders, and record collaboration milestones. The handy thing is it also works offline so when you’re on the road or without an internet connection, you can continue adding to it and it will sync new additions and changes when you reconnect.
Brings coherence to your contacts
Smarty CRM has an easy-to-use interface that allows you to filter contacts by type, area and business and you can, of course, search by name.
Smarty CRM conveniently divides and organizes contacts by type of contact including basic things such as personal and business contacts. It also allows you to store chats and emails with specific clients and partners and store notes on them. The contacts field includes the option to define what type of contact they are such as an important one or potential one. The tabs along the left-hand margin enable you to instantly choose whether you want to view your chat history with the client or comments that you have made.
Set goals for your contacts
More than this, Smarty CRM also allows you to set goals for contact with customers and integrate them with a diary and organizer to help better structure your contact with them. The organizer allows you to set a reminder for a call or a meeting directly from the contact card with just a few taps and Smarty CRM will remind you when its due.
The goals feature is divided into different stages, such as establishing a new contact, identification of needs, presentation of a product, etc. Smarty CRM for Android automatically prompts you to complete each new stage so you know exactly where you are and to ensure that you follow-up customer communications. The idea is that this brings order and coherence to your customer relationships so that you can better manage them. This way, you can more easily see at what stage you are at with a client and what your last contact with them was. A status bar shows you at what percentage you are at and you can add as many goals as you want.
If you use the web version of Smarty CRM Organizer, you can also store files online and import contacts in .xls format from Excel which is useful if you’ve got huge documents full of contacts. Strangely though, you can’t actually import contacts from your Android device.
While integration with the web version of Smarty CRM Organizer is very good, integration with the actual Android device is poor so you’re much better importing contacts from either Excel or syncing them with the web version. Despite this, Smarty CRM requires full access to your Android device including access to contacts data, low-level system log files, the ability to initiate a phone call without going through the dialer, status bar access, access information about networks and the ability to change network connectivity state, among others.
If you already use the Smarty CRM web app, then Smarty CRM for Android is definitely worth using because everything is synchronized in real time, and integration with the web interface works well. However, if you want something that integrates with your Android contacts and device in general then you should look elsewhere because Smarty CRM Organizer doesn’t go as far as it could in this respect.
