Total 90 is a 90 day course which will efficiently allow you to improve your fitness and health. The app tracks your food and water intake every day, giving you set workouts to improve fitness and keep a journal of changes. A good idea is to attach photographs so you have a visual representation of your development.

Total 90 isn’t the most aesthetically appealing of applications, however, its role is to encourage extreme fitness – not to look good. This is the only negative I can find with this app!

If you’re looking for a basic, free application for the gym, Workout Journal is a good option. Though it may not be the most visually appealing app, it easily achieves its key purpose. The app allows you to enter the strength and name of the equipment you are using, then creates a workout based around this piece of equipment.

    WW Points Plus Diary & Scanner nor the developer can be found in Google Play. (Maybe it was a copyright/trademark issue?) although there are others. I think a good addition to the list would be a good couch to 5K app. There are several in the market.
